Media students from Year 10 and Year 13 had the exciting opportunity to be visited by Matthew Crosby, a writer, podcaster, radio presenter, and comedian. Matthew, who has worked on some of Britain’s biggest shows, including Bake Off, Traitors Uncloaked, Hypothetical, and Blankety Blank, gave an inspiring talk about how students can turn their creativity into a career. He also led engaging games that helped students explore how to connect seemingly unrelated ideas—an essential skill in comedy.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the session, and we’re incredibly grateful to Matthew for taking the time to visit and share his experiences with us.
